Sacramento Bee: After a difficult 2010, the new owner of Sacramento's downtown railyard said it's now making progress on the project, including resolution of a critical, long-standing land dispute that threatened to stall development.
Officials with Inland American Real Estate Trust and the city have reached a tentative agreement to put a slice of the site into the city's hands this month, allowing work to continue on roads connecting the site to downtown.
City Hall could not "be more pleased to this point with what they've done," Mayor Kevin Johnson said Tuesday.
