Sacramento Bee: The city of Sacramento has begun the process of dismissing Dan Waters, the development department employee who issued new home permits in Natomas last year that violated a federal building ban in the area, The Bee has learned.
Waters received a letter of intent to terminate last Wednesday, sources told The Bee. The sources would only speak anonymously because Waters' termination is a personnel matter.
