Sacramento Bee: Following a private screening of the documentary "Waiting for 'Superman' " on Tuesday night in Sacramento, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and a panel of reform-minded speakers said it's time to make major changes in a broken public education system.
Schwarzenegger was joined on the panel by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who moderated the discussion; Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa; Washington, D.C., public schools chancellor Michelle Rhee; and Don Shalvey, deputy director of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
