Sacramento Bee: NBA players are a pampered, privileged bunch, and not accustomed to reaching out. Others come to them. They answer the questions. They play by their own rules. Point guards in particular dictate the terms, and Kevin Johnson was an exceptional point guard.
But whether Sacramento's young mayor successfully presides over an arena venture as complex as it is conceptually breathtaking, could depend on how well he listened to his old Phoenix Suns boss and mentor, Jerry Colangelo, outside the gym.
