Last night's Town Hall in Land Park drew about 125 neighbors, and I had the opportunity to talk about plenty of city and neighborhood issues. From transportation to downtown development to the construction of a new bridge, we had a healthy exchange about our city's future. This town hall, like the three others I've held, may have hit on 16 or so different concerns. But there was one common thread: Sacramento is hungry for leadership. Land Park, like so many areas of our city, has been ignored for too long. Citizens want a Mayor with energy who will listen to them -- and be accountable for delivering. As I continue these forums throughout the city (the next one is in Natomas), I will be rolling out more details of our plan to energize our city. Stay tuned!
